Line and Shape
I took these pictures scattered around Boston. The first is of a park bench in Boston Public Gardens. It is a close up of a long bench and shows a really cool perspective. The second is also in the Public Gardens, and it is the Robin Williams Memorial bench. This is another close up from a lower angle. Robin Williams and Matt Damon had a conversation in an iconic scene of Good Will Hunting on this bench. The third is a wall on the way from the Public Gardens to Faneuil Hall. It is a close up from eye level close to the wall. The fourth is of a grate in the Old South Church on Boylston St. taken from above. The fifth is of the Firemen Memorial adjacent to Boylston and is taken from the end of the curve. The final is taken in the Quincy T Station parallel to the bricks into the sun. Some of them are horizontal and some are vertical. The rule of thirds was considered in the first and the fifth pictures. The park bench catches your eye and curves around the picture. The Firemen Memorial also catches your eye with a bold curve. These pictures were fun to take and I am very proud of them!
